Hot tip: how to stay connected to your body throughout the day

We can get so focused on the outer world, and others that we forget to tune into ourselves. Take time each day to check in, even if that means setting reminders to do so. Before long, you’ll be doing it automatically!

Here’s a place to start:

Place a calendar reminder at regular intervals throughout the day to ask your body how it's doing and what it needs Here are some questions to ask:

What is one word I would use to describe how my body feels right now?

Am I hungry? Thirsty?

Am I tired? Wired?

How does my gut feel?

Where is my weight sitting (front of foot? Back of foot?)

How deeply am I breathing (nothing good or bad about breathing deep or shallow, just check in)?
